The origins of "sense of africa

Emil Antony visited South Africa for the first time in 2003. It was his intention to watch and photograph animals in their natural habitat in order to be able to paint them later on. Luckily, he has been able to fulfill almost all his dreams in this regard.

Drawn by the fantastic nature and a sense of adventure, he travels to Africa several times a year, captures the wild, adventurous scenes with his camera and later paint them at home. Frequently, he also produces sketches of scenes straightaway in order to be able to better render his impressions at home. He takes the time to go on long safaris and is always attracted anew to this fascinating country with its breathtaking contrasts.

The magnificent landscapes and the diverse flora and fauna time and again cast their spell on him whether he finds himself in the desert of Namibia, the savannah of South Africa, Swaziland, Rwanda, Malawi, Tanzania Botswana or Mozambique. Here he can experience the whole variety of the African animal kingdom on his own during unforgettable adventures.
